Fight On! 03:39
Fight On! The road we walk along we may walk alone The path to peace is always paved with strive And if you run from darkness, you may never see the light But if you lose your way, the day shall break the night And the world belongs to the young Who possess the warrior's heart And who can.... Fight On! Standing at the canyon's edge, you see the valley below There a wild river runs, you hear those rapids flow Remember that the water cut the rock upon which you stand Created the canyon, slowly eroded the land (Repeat Pre Chorus & Chorus) Never break ya down! Always endure!
2.
Dawn's Highway As I was going nowhere across Dawn's Highway I say old memories come to life but I couldn't stay So I kept on riding, heading for the next town Not exactly hiding, for new territory I am bound Chorus: I'm falling from the sky at such a dizzying speed I used to be able to fly but now the strangers feed on me Things are new and things are old, we still do as we're told I used to be able to see your face in my mind but now I just hit rewind Now I see your face, it looks so perfect in my mind The memory of who you were I'm leaving that behind Were you ever who I thought you were, I guess it doesn't matter now I'm leaving that anger and heading for the next town (Repeat Chorus) I used to... I used to... I used to be able to see your face In my mind but now I just hit rewind Was it fantasy? Was that why you walked away from me? Head over heels, Mind into steel Onward I roam, Heading for a new home Onward I roam! (Repeat Chorus)
3.
Carrion Crow 04:25
Carrion Crow Chorus: Old black crow get away from me Old black crow get away from me Everything you touch is heresy Everything takes a piece of me Carrion crow, you're better than me Doors are locked, you hold the key Evolution man does what he can Still a slave to the race he ran (Chorus) Carrion crow, what do you see? Outfoxed the best of me And when it all comes back around Still I wait for another round (Chorus) Everything here is history Now I know what I got to be!
4.
Crack in the Dam There's a crack in the dam Some water's seeping thru There's a crack in the dam Don't know what I'm gonna do The water's prutruding Been flowing all my life It leaks thru my days And creeps thru my nights There's a crack in the dam And I'm plugging all the holes I'm trying to hold on As the waves take their toll I'm trying to hold on The best that I can I've seen this before I know where to bend There's a crack in the dam! Yeah! There comes a breaking point Where you let the flood be Where you let it all flow Thru the gaps that you feel So let it all flow Like a natural stream I take what I need And let the rest flow down the stream There's a crack in the dam! Yeah!
5.
Harbor of Tears And I left you before I ever met you History erased before civilization began Ruined cities, weeds growing from ashes And we waved goodbye from the harbor of tears Idyllic pictures in yellowed albums Not a soul found on a country mile And maybe one day I'll find you where you're going But for now wave goodbye from the harbor of tears There's no worry from a heart not beating There is only dust when the wind stops blowing And I left you there, somewhere I'll never return Water in the sun, shining harbor of tears Please don't judge me, don't cast me away I know we're only doing our best to face another day Someday I'll find you and I won't know what to say But that'll be another life, far from the harbor of tears
6.
Ocean Road 05:21
Ocean Road You see, she said to me, I still don't believe That you're afraid to dive in after me It's not that I'm afraid, it's just such a fine day And I can see all right from where I am On this ocean road I can watch you glide, from way up here I know I Can keep my eyes wide open all the time Your shawl blows in the wind and pressure slowly gives And I can see it's time to begin again On this ocean road Winds toward the sun Brings me back to everyone On this ocean road You can lose a step You can take a breath And I can find you where you find me! You turn back to me trying to tell if I can see The mirrors you found at your feet Clouds are tracing down where only small birds can be found I watch you flying from the ground (repeat Chorus)
7.
Divided Highway Driving under velvet skies at night And the jagged landscapes of the day Divided Highway Where the bayou crawls and muddy waters rise And Huddie Ledbetter thumbs out for a ride Divided Highway Where the monoliths of redwood stand tall And the thunder under mountains deafen all Divided Highway Canyon rocks like the valleys of Mars Vericose veins polluted by cars Divided Highway Somewhere down the assembly line 4 wheels and steel make a dream real But you may find that in time You're only looking for the way you used to feel Divided Highway!! Lawns bound by white picket bonds Crowded streets where you feel all alone Divided Highway Skyscrapers lurching over avenues White lines that you can never lose Divided Highway Beauty so deep there's a loss for words In the distance a blackened forest burns Odometer spinning backwards Flying by so fast that you can never learn Divided Highway!!
8.
Constant Planes Another plane..... Constant planes.....
9.
The Monolith 06:10
The Monolith The monolith stands before me Slowly watching ape become man The monolith rises above me Summoning us to an alien land And everything we hope to be just beyond our grasp Naked before the obelisk We create fire with our hands Cold inside the mainframe We build machines that take us from this land And everything we strive to be forgotten in the sand False deities blind our eyes While the monolith only waits They cloud our path a lead astray Evolutionary destiny taken too late And everything we hope to be might be lost in space A child is born on Earth With all the potential that we claim She nestles against the monolith Her mind is open to the flame And everything we could possibly be could be our's again!
10.
Three Hawks 05:03
Three Hawks Light of the day, there's still time to save A few hours on our day Weather seems fair, a song fills the air We don't speak, we don't even dare Chorus: Seen it before, here it comes again Three hawks in the sky, what message do they send? Circling above me, while one passes close Three hawks in the sky into the sun they fly We're on the road, cars are moving slow Frustrated with nowhere to go Melody in my mind left so far behind Thinking words that have no rhyme But there's no peace when pressures never cease Still can't tame the beast But when storms come they're followed by the sun And the interstate where we can make our run (Chorus) Now the sun fades as night takes the day In the meadow where we lay Stars in the sky are reflected in your eyes And in my mind wings take flight (Chorus)
11.
Charyou Tree 05:58
Charyou Tree Come Reap!! Charyou Tree!!
12.
Tunnel 03:42
Tunnel I'm sick of wasting our time I'm tired of waiting for signs Don't tell me about love Or about the stars above Chorus- I'm sick of wondering if I may Just tell me what I need you to say Take me wherever you need to go Just tell me what I need to know I've found that words are empty And songs about eternity I don't care if you love or hate me I just want you to break me (Chorus)

about

Tom Doyle New York, New York

For almost ten years Tom Doyle was the bass player and lead singer of Econoline, Long Island's foremost voyagers into the inner sanctums of rock n' roll. Times change, people grow and move on, Econoline goes into indefinite hiatus and Doyle is left wondering, 'what is next?'. After a brief sabbatical revisiting the town Blightly Grove, England inspiration struck him again and Dark Donovan emerges. ... more
